Students offer solutions on Latin America, Caribbean to federal and congressional decision makers

Green School students were among a group of FIU students whose drive to solve issues facing the Western Hemisphere was on full display during a recent Washington, D.C. fly-in.These students met with appointed and elected officials and presented solutions for the region’s needs. During the trip, the Jack D. Gordon Institute for Public Policy and the Kimberly Green Latin American and Caribbean Center also released two reports and led a stakeholder discussion of the trends facing the region.
