Green School professor pens op-ed on the importance of bilingualism in children

In this piece, associate professor of applied linguistics Melissa Baralt discusses the importance of bilingualism and its role in early child development and lifelong child health. Ashley Darcy Mahoney, neonatal nurse practitioner at Baptist Children's Hospital and George Washington University, co-authored the piece, which originally appeared in El Nuevo Herald.
