Congratulations to the FIU students who presented on Monday, March 27that the 21st Annual South Florida Tri-University Graduate Student Conference on Latin America and the Caribbean.
Students presented abstracts for papers, poster presentations, Ted-style talks and short films on issues of significance to the people and societies of Latin America and the Caribbean and their diasporic communities.
This conference was open, but not limited to, the disciplines of law, medicine, public health, political science, economics, anthropology, sociology, modern languages, literature studies, religious studies, and history.
The annual conference is a collaborative tradition of Florida Atlantic University, the University of Miami, and Florida International University.
Florida Atlantic University hosted this year's annual Tri-University Graduate Student Conference. FIU looks forward to hosting the Conference in 2024!
